Sullivan's Woods Trip
On Wednesday, October 10, the chilliest fall day of the year, Mrs. Monigal and Mrs. Klemm's 5th grade classes travelled to Sullivan's woods. It turned out to be a great day, with the discovery of a salamander by Malik and Seth, an owl feather, found by Brodie, and one group even played with a tiny mouse!!! To add to the excitement, all the 5th graders were able to participate in a compass station and a binoculars station, led by 2 "friends of Sullivan's Woods."

Group #2 found this awesome blue-spotted salamander!!!
